TRIACETATE
Triacetate is a new, sustainable material we're proud to feature, loved for its exceptional softness, cool feel, and effortless care.
This unique fibre is beautifully crafted from wood pulp. It’s a clever blend that brings together the best qualities of natural materials with the benefits of modern innovation. Imagine the silken touch and fluid drape of the finest silk, but with a wonderfully practical ease that truly simplifies your everyday life. This fabric has a beautiful, subtle sheen that catches the light just so, allowing every garment to move with a graceful elegance.
Beyond its sophisticated appearance, Triacetate is incredibly resilient. It resists wrinkles, holds its shape beautifully, and keeps its vibrant colour wash after wash. This means less time spent on complicated care and more time simply enjoying your perfectly polished look.
Triacetate vs. Acetate: Triacetate is a more advanced version of acetate. While both are cellulose-based, triacetate has a higher level of acetylation, which gives it enhanced durability, heat resistance, and superior wrinkle resistance.
Triacetate vs. Polyester: Both Triacetate and polyester offer good wrinkle resistance and durability. However, Triacetate, being cellulose-based, provides a distinct silk-like feel and better heat resistance. Polyester, a fully synthetic fibre, is often more affordable but typically lacks the natural drape and luxurious feel of Triacetate, and its environmental footprint differs.
Triacetate vs. Silk: While Triacetate beautifully mimics the luxurious look and feel of silk, it offers the added advantages of easier care and superior wrinkle resistance.
